At PNQE in September 2004, I learned a fusing technique from Melody Johnson, and I've been having fun with it since. This is the small quilt that I made during the class.

This next quilt started with a comment that my Aunt made about drawing. She said that you don't have to draw a picture exactly as you see it. I decided to try to free form cut and fuse a quilt of this photo that I took.
It's named "Pot of Zinnias".

My Grandmother asked me to make her a quilt for her bedroom wall. When I asked her what she wanted and what color, she said those dreaded words "Whatever you think will look good". So I made the first quilt for her that was a vase of daises - it wasn't big enough.... so, I made the two panels for either side.
