In November 2003, I joined the online mailing list for Quilt Art. I found the site by accident while I was searching for information on Lancaster fabric shops. Once I started receiving the email messages, I was hooked. The information that I have learned from this group is amazing. The 2004 Journal Quilt Project was announced and I decided to give it a try. It was my first long-term project that I had signed up for, and it was a challenge keeping on track. In the end, I was very proud of myself for finishing the project and getting it sent to Houston in time.
